Licorice extract has been shown to help with hyper-pigmentation and contains a powerful antioxidant glycyrrhizin.

Extracts of argan, serenoa serrulata fruit and sesame seed regulate sebum production, reduce greasiness of the skin and improves the appearance of enlarged pores.

CO2 extracts of lavender and curcuma xanthorrhiza have antibacterial properties.
